We spend a lot of time behind a computer screen, so every now and then it's nice to let loose, go outside and see the sun, then channel bug-fix-frustrations by hurling bowling balls at unsuspecting pins. Last week we did just that. (And in case you're wondering, yes, the above panoramic was taken with the new iPhone 5).

We played a few friendly games in two teams, with each team winning once. Let's get one thing clear: social media matters. Unfortunately, like many perfectly valid pursuits undermined by the high ratio of teenagers doing them (okay, not many), social media is often an afterthought--if it isn't shrugged off entirely. From a business perspective, it deserves to be taken seriously. And by "seriously," we mean that it is worthy of effort and intention, not that it has to be (or should be, in any manner) approached with the same dry ploys of direct mail marketing or the stale sincerity of the decade-old spam collecting cyberdust in unread email folders.

In the last five years, our team has grown tremendously at our 295 Sheppard Ave West studio. So in the spirit of continued progress, we’ve decided to relocate to a new office space at 340 Alden Road, Markham, ON, L3R 4C1.

Although we haven’t moved in quite yet, we will have made the space our own soon. We will be operating from the new location starting September 17th. Our phone number and other contact information will remain the same. The new studio is the ideal environment for Radii to continue to grow, expand our service offerings and evolve into the future. Stay tuned!

This point is really driven home by the fact that they went so far as to change what FITC stands for; from the Flash specific: Flash In The Can, to the more software neutral: Future Innovation Technology Creativity. Although there wasn’t as much flashy eye candy this year (get it?) there were certainly many interesting and inspiring talks. Below are a few of our favorites.
